Vanderson wins the Miller Lite Open in York PA


The Miller Lite Open is all set for March 30-April 1st in York PA
The Miller Lite Open is ready to kick this weekend, featuring Pro racquetball in Pennsylvania for the first time in many years. The event has completely sold out, mainly due to the involvement of the IRT. Check out the draw on the IRT site, it has most of the top players in the mid-Atlantic, plus a pretty good player named Vanderson. This event will continue to grow thanks to it's many sponsors, Miller Lite, Broadway Transmission, and Hooter's

VANDERSON UPSET......!

Shane Vanderson was upset today at the York IRT event. It was in a exhibition mixed doubles match. Travis Aldinger and Hooter Girl Angel, defeated Shane and Hooter Girl Jen in a tough match. Pictures to follow

Shane Vanderson defeated local Travis Aldinger in the Pro Final.  Shane played solid taking Travis out in 3.  The crowd was impressed with Shane's ability, and sportsmanship.  He is a great representation of the IRT, through talking with the players, taking time to sign posters for the junior players, and showing how good the top pros are.  The amateur portion of the draw was loaded, matches were being played at midnight on Friday and Saturday.  It is great to have the IRT back in Pennsylvania and everyone should try to make this part of their tournament schedule next year.  Thanks again to Shane and the IRT for helping make this event a huge success.
