 The International Racquetball Tour (IRT) is a showcase of events that display's the best players in the world as they as they hit the ball at speeds close to 200 mph! Founded in 1990, the IRT season runs from August- May and includes over 30 sanctioned events throughout North America.

The IRT is showcased at one of the most prestigious events in racquetball, the US Open and at the newly added The Motorola IRT Pro Nationals and The Motorola World Racquetball Championship both presented by Verizon Wireless, which debut every year on National TV. The “Made for TV”  court allows television and its millions of sports enthusiasts the opportunity to watch this exciting sport. The IRT’s future depends on events such as these, which showcases these talented athletes and their awesome skills. With more than 300 professional racquetball players on the tour each event promises to be unpredictable as any player has a chance to walk away with a new title.

One of the major goals for the IRT is to excite the public on the sport of professional racquetball and the stars it includes. Syaed tuned as the sport of racquetball becomes the next generation of extreme sports.
